I'd like to see Grigorenko, Duchene and maybe Colborne. Try Soderberg on the third.

The lines for tonight are interesting....

Not sure how I feel about grigs as a 4C, r bourque with dutch/soderberg.... Cody in for Ben smith in okay with. I just think if mack, Landy and Dutch are your guy who need to step up then give them 20mins a night.

Really did look like a game the night after going to OT against the champs but still no excuse. Every old guy on the team besides maybe Tyutin was awful tonight especially Iginla. Multiple gross turnovers in the first period killing momentum for whoever he was out with and then a ridiculous penalty that resulted in a goal. He should be on the 3rd line at best. Rene's penalty killing the pp in the 3rd was awful too. Its becoming pretty apparent that Duchene needs another high skill player on his line to do the work for him to get anything done on the scoreboard. His speed and spins in the corners look great while he's getting nothing done. Hopefully Rantanen can step in and add some more fire power to our top 6.

Lines were gross tonight. The Mackinnon line can stay. Duchene needs to play with talent like grigs. Hopefully rants plays with them once he come back. Then put soderberg with Comeau and colbourne. Then the fourth can be Marty Mitchel and someone. Just waiting for rants, and then possibly Greer and compher to come up sick! They will help this team more than the pto players will but I get they are just plug players this year

tough game. Back to back against a really good and rested team, probably was a pipe dream that they got a point out of that one.

Stinker but its a process, no need to start getting all panicked about the roster lines pairings just yet.

I did like Bednar calling what the game was, junk. He isnt Roy sugar coating things, trying to make it sound like the Avs were right in there till the end.

If you would have told me last year the Avs would pick up two wins against the stars, pens and caps to start the year I would have thought you were crazy. Though game but still an impressive start to the year! Varly and our overall goaltending has been solid so far!

Going 2-2 on this trip is a win for the avs. And staring 3-2 all against top teams of last year who look good early on is a great start.

its probably the toughest stretch of games they have all season, so I agree if they go 2-2, thats a win in my books

Also true, I am not concerned about a beat down like last night, just couldnt believe how many peopel on twitter were going after Rene Bourque, like him being in the line up is poisoning the roster.

Rene is whatever, hes better than McLeod, and an actual hockey player compared to Cliche and Bordy.

If he is just awarm body and isnt impactful in the bottom 6, whatever, hes on a 1 year 650k contract, the team isnt stuck with him like McLeod. Unfair to start tossing him into the fire already bc of 1 lose on the season
